I started crocheting in eighth grade after falling in love with handmade animals and thinking, why not make my own?

That one idea turned into something much bigger.

Today, I design and create my own crochet animals, including custom pieces inspired by your ideas. I love taking something that starts in my imagination and turning it into something you can actually hold.

Along the way, I turned my creativity into my own small business — designing, photographing, pricing, packaging, and sending each piece myself.

But my favorite part is that handmade things can do more than just look cute. They can connect people.

This holiday season, I’m bringing together 50 handmade animals for children in need. Some are made by me, and others can be donated by fellow makers who want to share a little love too.

I may never know exactly where every animal ends up — but I love knowing that each one was made by someone and chosen for someone.
